Join the Movement

Every February, Hope Week is our national campaign dedicated to amplifying the mission of Hope Squad. Ultimately, it's a great opportunity to raise awareness about mental health, to strengthen connections, and to prevent suicide in your school and community.

We love that these events give our Members the chance to serve their school and community by leading and organizing activities.

Community Engagement & Partners

Invite local mental health agencies, youth-serving organizations, crisis centers, or community coalitions to participate in activities and establish bridges of support throughout this event.

  • Consider inviting community partners beyond mental health organizations such as youth organizations, cultural centers, nonprofits, community coalitions, civic leaders, family resource centers, or public health educators (ex: department of public health, nutritionists, etc.)
  • Invite them to provide a resource table, participate in an assembly, offer consultation time, accept referrals, or give away resources (ex: SWAG, brochures, etc.)

How to find support

If you are not currently a representative of an existing Hope Squad, please contact us at Info@HopeSquad.com or (801)342-3444. Any time existing Squad representatives or Advisors need support, we encourage you to contact Support@HopeSquad.com or call us. We are here to help!

Prevention Efforts

This national campaign will encourage more conversations about mental health, and we want to ensure it's easy for anyone to find help.  Most schools maintain crisis-response procedures and Hope Squad should not replace or override those protocols. Review each resource below or download all resources in bulk. Empower your school to pursue help before a crisis occurs.

Prepare Gatekeepers

Identify Trusted Adults

  • Assign Trusted Adults at each activity or event for immediate support
  • Use the Referral Guidelines to plan referral follow up
